Gemma Smith

Boulder # 6  acrylic 55 x 40 x 35 cm

1 of 12

Gemma Smith has exhibited at Gertrude Street and is very much an emerging artist. Her work was discussed at an NGV lecture on sculpture, and was described as 'an artist to watch'.  She recently was included in the exhibition of Cubism at Heide Museum of Modern Art.

The light catches the shards of acrylic and refract creating a myriad of colours. The piece can be laid on many different sides creating different angles/colours.

It is a very beautiful, interesting piece.
