Kirrily Hammond

“The Gloaming” and “Glenmorghan”

30cm x 30 cm each

These sullen but sweet little works of twilight, from around the streets of Brunswick will travel as a pair.

The Gloaming on the left depicts a suburban weatherboard house, set at that time of day between daylight and night.  While Glenmorghan on the right depicts a quiet, almost lonely street, also between day and night, with a silent sentinel of the wheelie bin standing as if on guard duty.

The Gloaming  being the piece which loaned its name to the exhibition.
